Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all services provided by Memar Electrical Pty Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”) to our clients (“you”, “your”). By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Quotes and Estimates
All quotes and estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
Quotes are based on information provided by you. Any variations or additional work requested may result in extra charges.
2. Bookings and Cancellations
Bookings must be made in advance and are subject to availability.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a fee.
3. Pricing and Payment
All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and inclusive/exclusive of GST (as specified in the quote).
Payment terms are as outlined on your invoice. Unless otherwise agreed, full payment is due upon completion of the work.
We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue invoices at a rate of 2% per month.
4. Access and Site Requirements
You must ensure we have safe and reasonable access to the site to carry out the agreed work.
Any delays caused by lack of access, unsafe conditions, or other site issues may result in additional charges.
5. Warranties and Guarantees
All work is carried out by licensed electricians in accordance with Australian Standards and regulations.
We provide a lifetime warranty on our workmanship. If an issue arises due to our workmanship, we will rectify it at no additional cost.
Products and materials supplied are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, which we will honour in accordance with their terms.
6. Liability
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from our services.
Our liability is limited to the cost of supplying the services again or the payment of having the services supplied again.
We are not responsible for pre-existing faults, defects, or issues outside the scope of our agreed services.
7. Variations
Any variations to the agreed scope of work must be approved in writing and may result in additional charges.
8. Privacy
We collect and handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
